February was an exciting month for MPA sports! With many teams nearing the end of the season, there are many accomplishments to be recognized. To start off, the Boys’ Basketball team recently won a big game against Community of Peace 72-51, with the leading scorer, Micah Hudock, winning 43 points. Their season has now come to an end with their last game, which was against Concordia. They will not go on to compete in sections, but they had a great season. Girls' Basketball also had their last game recently, which was against SPA, with MPA winning 71-44, and 27 of those points coming from Audrey Jakway. They are ending the season with a record of 13-7 but sadly are also not competing in sections. MPA winter sports were a success, and spring sports are soon to come. We are excited to see what these spring sports will hold for MPA athletes after we come back from Spring Break!
Spring sports are here! Practices will begin soon after we return from Spring Break! Soon there will be numerous matches, games, and meets for MPA students to support their peers. Stay on the lookout for more information regarding specific events in the future.
